President Adama Barrow received a rousing welcome in France, during his trip. Gambians from all various walks of life showed up to welcome the new president. He has been accompanied by a high powered delegation.
Among the Ministers accompanying Barrow, is Foreign Minister Ousainou Darboe, Justice Minister Baa Tambadou, Interior Minister Mai Fatty, and Tourism Minister Hamat Bah.
Mr. Barrow and his delegation will proceed to Belgium, at the end of their France trip. They are supposed to hold talks with the EU officials.
In another development, Lebanese businessman Tarik Musa, was seen around the Barrow delegation in France. Mr. Musa used to be a close confidant of dictator Jammeh. He later parted company with the dictator.
Meanwhile, the former Nigerian Director of public prosecution, who fled the country in the wake of the political impasse has returned to Banjul. He has resumed work.
