The organizing committee, who were tasked to contract the local Gambian artists to perform during president Barrow’s inauguration on independence day, were spotted at the police yesterday, paying artists in the presence of police officers, Freedom Radio Gambia can reveal.

Among the organizing committee members seen at the police station were: Musa Ceesay, an Africell employee, Sheikh Omar Jallow, Gibril Faal, and Aziz Willan. They paid the artists in the presence of cops.
