Gambia: Meet Gambia’s New Prison Boss

Interior Minister Mai Fatty, has been purging the security agencies under his command. Today, Mr. Fatty, extended his electric broom to the Prison Services and the army. Longtime Prison boss David Colley, is Fatty’s number one causality at the Prison Department. Mr. Colley has been fired with immediate effect.

Mr. Colley’s successor is one Ansumana Manneh, a resident of Kombo Lamin. He has been described as a fine gentleman. Manneh is now in charge of the prison.

As usual, no reason was given for David Colley’s removal. Mr. Colley was heading a hell fire prison system. Many inmates have died at mile two during David Colley’s watch. This is largely attributed to poor food, bad sanitation, and lack medicine to cure sick prisoners.

At the GAF headquarters, over five officers have been fired. Many are expected to be fired in coming days.
