Gambia: Breaking News: Lebanese Hotel Owners Given Exclusive Control Of The Independence Guest Services; Gambia Hotel Owners Complain!

Gambian hotel owners are also complaining about being marginalized by the independence celebrations organizing committee, Freedom Radio Gambia can reveal. Some of the hotel owners, who wished not to be named said the organizing committee is favoring Lebanese hotel owners by allowing all the bookings to be channeled through the Lebanese hotels. This, they said, is a blatant discrimination.

Among the Gambian owned hotels sidelined includes: Badala park hotel, Palm beach, Seaview, Bambo, Sand beach just to name a few. The hotel owners felt being left out in this grand independence celebrations. None of the hotels mentioned above have been allocated with guest services.

It is not clear who is the main conduit within the Transition government promoting the Lebanese business domination agenda. Sources reaching this medium have indicated that the Gambian hotel owners have been completely sidelined.

Attempts to reach the transition government for comment without success.
