Gambia: Breaking News: Nigerian Gambian Chief Justice Resigns And Flees Banjul

Nigerian mercenary former Chief Justice in the former Jammeh administration has absconded from the Gambia, this medium has gathered. Emmanuel Olusegun Fagbenle, fled the Gambia on Saturday. He also reportedly resigned from his job before leaving the country, sources said.

CJ Fagbenle did not advance any reason for his resignation. He boarded flight from the airport on Saturday, and then travelled to Nigeria.

The news of his absconding is yet to be confirmed by the Transition government. This medium emailed the Transition few minutes ago to seek clarification about the whereabouts of the CJ. We are yet to hear from them.
