The impoverished nation of The Gambia, has started experiencing fuel (gas) shortages, in addition to the current political stalemate, Freedom Radio Gambia can reveal. At the pump level, reports have it that some gas stations have already started running out of gas stock. Soon, there will be no gas in the country. Massive gas shortages is about to hit The Gambia.

Dictator Yahya Jammeh’s outgoing government lacks foreign exchange to import gas. Jammeh’s Lebanese partner Muhammed Bazzi, who used to import gas is said to be out of the country. The remaining gas cannot meet the growing need for gas in coming weeks and months.

In the absence of gas, there cannot be effective mobility. Transportation would be brought to halt. The country will also experience electricity outages.
