Former Ecowas chairman, Muhamed Ibn Chambas , is slated to address the issue of Gambia’s recent elections shortly and transition vis-a-vis national peace and security after Jammeh. The press conference will be held at UN house in Bakau today.
The press conference comes at a critical time when Freedom newspaper has been reliably informed of intense efforts to derail and thwart the will of Gambian people by Saul Badjie.
According to sources on the ground, the UN diplomat will address the need for Jammeh to continue to respect the will of the people and steer clear of any interference during and after the transition process.
